Commissioned by author Debbie Bussie, this delightful series takes young readers on exciting journeys alongside Brody Bear and his lovable companions—Missy the Mouse, Charlie the Chipmunk, and Ronnie the Rabbit. Whether they’re exploring prehistoric wonders in "Brody Bear Visits the Dinosaur Museum," experiencing the colorful thrills of "Brody Bear Goes to the Carnival!", or setting out on an educational escapade in "Brody Bear Goes on a Field Trip," each book is filled with fun, friendship, and heartwarming discoveries.
Using bold, vibrant colors, I illustrated each scene to reflect the energy and excitement of Brody’s adventures. Every moment was carefully crafted to immerse readers in the joy of exploration, making the characters expressive and engaging. One of the biggest creative challenges was ensuring consistency across the series while keeping each book visually distinct and memorable. Through dynamic compositions and playful storytelling elements, I ensured that each journey felt fresh and immersive for young readers.
Beyond illustrating the books, I was also responsible for designing the covers, layouts, and preparing print-ready files, ensuring a polished, captivating final product. My proudest achievement in this project was bringing Brody Bear’s world to life in a way that sparks curiosity and delight, making each adventure feel as vivid and exciting as the next.
